Norpix TroublePix is specialized digital video recording software developed primarily for troubleshooting and monitoring in industrial manufacturing facilities. Unlike the more complex StreamPix software, TroublePix offers a simplified user interface optimized for non-technical personnel and touchscreen operation.

Core functions

Simultaneous functions: Enables simultaneous recording of live video, display of the camera image, and playback of previously recorded sequences (triplex functionality).

Triggering & looping: Supports pre/post triggering, in which the video runs in a ring buffer (RAM or hard disk) and is only permanently stored when an event (e.g., PLC signal) occurs.

Event markers: Sets automatic or manual markers in the video sequence to quickly find critical moments during later analysis.

Motion detection: An optional module can automatically start recording when motion is detected in a defined image area.

Technical specifications

Speed: Recordings from 60 to 4,500 fps (at VGA resolution) are possible depending on the hardware configuration.

Compatibility: Supports over 200 camera brands and common interfaces such as GigE Vision, USB3, Camera Link, and CoaXPress.

Storage: Data can be streamed directly to the hard drive uncompressed or using GPU-accelerated JPEG compression.
