NIR Enhanced
Making the invisible visible: precision up to 1300 nm with our NIR cameras
In modern industrial image processing, the wavelength spectrum often determines process reliability. While standard sensors reach their limits at 1000 nm, our NIR-optimized camera systems open up the crucial range up to 1300 nm.
Where the human eye and conventional cameras only see opaque surfaces, our systems enable deep insight into materials and light sources.

EHD MaxCam-2020e-TE Cooled Near Infrared (NIR) Camera with GSENSE2020e sensor and USB3.0.
The EHD MaxCam-2020e-TE series industrial USB3.0 camera is a highly specialized and sophisticated imaging tool with several advanced features. Here’s a breakdown of its key attributes:
Sensor:
GSENSE2020e 1.2″ front-illuminated sCMOS monochrome sensor ensures high-quality imaging, often used in industrial and scientific applications due to its exceptional sensitivity and low noise.
Cooling System:
Two-stage Peltier cooling: The sensor is cooled to -40°C below ambient temperature, which dramatically reduces thermal noise to 0.12(e-/s/pix)@-10°C, improving the signal-to-noise ratio. This cooling solution enhances image quality, particularly in low-light or long-exposure scenarios.
Heat Management:
The camera features a smart structure for efficient heat dissipation, along with an electric fan that increases heat radiation speed to maintain optimal performance.
Lens Mounts:
M42 mount and C-Mount adapter are included for lens attachment. There’s also the option for a F-Mount adapter, providing compatibility with various lenses.
Resolution & Image Quality:
With 16-bit A/D conversion, the camera ensures that it captures high-resolution, low-noise images suitable for precise industrial and scientific applications, such as microscopy or machine vision.
Data Transfer:
The USB3.0 interface provides fast data transfer, ensuring smooth operation, especially when capturing high-resolution images or videos.
Software & SDK:
The camera comes with EHDView acquisition software, which is complemented by an SDK compatible with Windows, Linux, and macOS platforms. The camera can also be controlled via DirectShow and TWAIN, which are commonly used standards for device communication on these operating systems. Also support for Matlab, LabView and ImageJ Micro-Manager.
This camera would be well-suited for high-performance imaging tasks in fields like industrial inspection, scientific research, and other applications where both image quality and low noise are critical.
